Elizabeth Ramsey, born on December 3, 1931; was known as the country’s “Queen of Rock & Roll.” The peak of her singing career started when she won Student Canteen contest in 1958. 

Her last appearances on television was last May 10, 2015 in ABS-CBN’s Your Face Sounds Familiar.
Last Thursday, she shared her life story in a radio interview on the DZMM program “Mismo” hosted by Jobert Sucaldito and Ahwel Paz.

She died last Wednesday, October 7, 2015, at the age of 83; as confirmed by her daughter Jaya on social media.
