Gabby Thomas, Suni Lee, Eileen Gu, and Nelly Korda were selected for the 2025 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue

Gabby Thomas, Suni Lee, Eileen Gu, and Nelly Korda were selected for the 2025 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue….

It may be fall, but these athletes are stripping down to their swimwear.

On Thursday, Sports Illustrated revealed an exclusive look at its Swimwear Issue 2025, starring a few trailblazing athletes.

The lineup includes the likes of sprinter Gabby Thomas, gymnast Suni Lee, golfer Nelly Korda and skier Eileen Gu, who all traveled to Boca Raton, Fla. for the steamy shoots, lensed by photographer Ben Horton.

“This remarkable group, featuring Olympic medalists, world champions, and record holders, embodies the next generation of all-stars poised to transform the world of sports,” said editor-in-chief MJ Day in a press release.

“They defy stereotypes and champion equality, inspiring young girls to envision themselves as both athletes and leaders,” Day continued. “At SI Swimsuit, we’ve always celebrated the future of women, and there’s no better way to honor these remarkable achievements than by featuring them on the pages of our issue.”

Gayle King, 69, thought she ‘was being punked’ when asked to pose for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit

Thomas, 27, who wore a peach-hued one-piece from Haus of Pinklemonaid, made her Olympic debut in 2021 in Tokyo, where she earned a bronze medal in the 200m event and a silver in the 4×100 relay.

This summer in Paris, Thomas received three golds for the 200m, 4×100, and 4×400 relays.

Meanwhile, world-renowned gymnast Suni Lee donned a brown St. Agni bikini for the issue, showing off her Olympic ring tattoo on her forearm.

Her first Olympics was in Tokyo four years ago, followed by the Paris Olympics over the summer. Between both events, Lee, 21, has a handful of much-deserved medals.

Then there’s No. 1 female professional golfer Nelly Korda, who opted for a white two-piece with chain detail, courtesy of Vitamin A.

Recently named the 2024 Rolex Player of the Year by the LPGA, Korda is the third player since the late ’70s to win five consecutive events on the LPGA Tour.

Finally, the outlet showcased Eileen Gu, a freestyle skier and three-time Olympic medalist.

For the photoshoot, the 21-year-old, who is the first Chinese athlete to win a gold medal at the X Games, wore a Norma Kamali red one-piece suit.

With the Swimsuit Issue officially dropping in the spring, there will be plenty more athletes honored in coming weeks, per the mag, and it remains to be seen who will make the final covers.

Jennifer Lopez loves her Uggs.

The “Unstoppable” star may be famous for her glam red carpet looks  but when she’s off the clock, she lives in the cozy brand’s bestsellers, from the Classic Short Boot to the Coquette Slipper.

Last week, however, Lopez stepped out in a brand-new Ugg boot that instantly caught our eye: the Classic Ultra Mini New Heights, an updated version of the viral Classic Ultra Mini she (and pretty much every other celeb) has worn on repeat for the past few years.

Like its predecessor, the Classic Ultra Mini New Heights features a lower shaft for easy on-off wear and comes perched on a head-turning platform — but stands out with the addition of a bold block heel.

Those in search of something slightly taller might consider the Classic Twin Seam New Heights Boot, which popped up on multiple “It” girls during New York Fashion Week in September.

Chloë Sevigny wore her pair with an “I [heart] NY” T-shirt dress at an industry bash, while model Alex Consani teamed hers with knee socks and hot pants.

Catwalker Precious Lee and “What It Is” singer Doechii, meanwhile, put a preppy twist on the side-stitched boots by styling theirs with miniskirts and collared shirts.

Whichever silhouette you select, we’d suggest adding it to your cart ASAP; buzzy new Ugg launches are known to sell out in record time.
