Chipley Station is the city’s newest taphouse and food truck pavilion. Complete with five food carts, beverages on tap, lots of TVs, and both indoor and outdoor seating, Chipley Station aims to be a community hub, with something for everyone. The business also wants to become a hub for entertainment in the area by hosting game nights or live music. The owners of Chipley Station tell NewsChannel 7 that creating this space has been a dream, and they chose to open in Chipley because of the people who live there. “It’s a very enduring, friendly community,” said one of the owners, Steven Storlie. ” I married a local gal, and we really wanted to build something that said thank you to all the nice people that are here, and that deserve a great place to come celebrate life.” Storlie tells NewsChannel 7 that a lot of hard work went into perfecting Chipley Station, including an advanced tap system that ensures all drinks are served cold. With the location being in the heart of Downtown Chipley, the owners were sure to integrate the town’s history into its decor. They say that they hope this benefits everyone. “Everything we’ve done is about asking the community what they want,” said owner Jeff Dexter. “It’s not really about us, it’s about providing something for the community.”
