The person’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, according to police. SANFORD, Maine — Police are investigating a stabbing on Bodwell Street in Sanford. Officers responded to a disturbance around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sanford police said in a social media post. When they got to the scene, they found a person injured with a stab wound, the post stated. The individual was taken to MaineHealth Maine Medical Center Sanford to be treated for injuries that were not considered life-threatening, according to police.  “This is believed to be an isolated incident,” police said. “Because this investigation is ongoing, we are not releasing specifics around the incident.” Police ask that anyone with information about the incident to contact Detective Lt.
