The city of Panama City Beach will begin a complete reconstruction project on Clarence Street very soon. City officials say the reconstruction will be from Middle Beach to Moylan Avenue.
This is one of the city’s last remaining F-roads reconstruction projects, aiming to replace a road that has reached the end of its life cycle.
“From a pavement standpoint, if you drive down the road and you see potholes, cracking, pavement falling apart, that kind of thing, they’ve fallen beyond their life cycle, they’ve just been there too long, and they need to be replaced, so that’s what’s going on with Clarence,” said John Adair, Public Works Director for the City of Panama City Beach.
City officials estimate that the project will take approximately 15 months to complete.
