Mark Pope of Kentucky Secures Promising Recruits

Before the transfer portal window ends, the Kentucky Wildcats are looking to add more guard help for their 2025-26 roster.

The Wildcats reached the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 before falling to Tennessee.

It was head coach Mark Pope’s first season in Lexington, and season two is expected to be another exciting and eventful chapter for Big Blue Nation.

Pope has two freshmen joining the program — Jasper Johnson and Malachi Moreno — but he’s also looking to fill the void left by Kerr Kriisa, who departed after just one season. Recent news could represent a significant development in Kentucky’s favor.
