Barking news:Three Oklahoma 2025 recruits have been selected to the Texas All-State Teams by The Sporting News…

The Oklahoma Sooners added some key pieces to their offense through the 2025 recruiting class. Offensive tackles Michael Fasusi and Ryan Fodje stole the headlines, but another player from Texas could turn out to be the best in the class.

Four-star running back Tory Blaylock, along with Fasusi was named to The Sporting News Texas All-State first-team after his 2024 season.

Blaylock rushed for 1,262 yards and 26 TDs for Atascocita this past season, helping the Eagles reach the regional finals. The Oklahoma signee was also a solid pass-catcher, averaging 13.8 yards a catch as he snagged 22 passes while scoring three TDs. – Buck Ringold, The Sporting News

Blaylock, who ran for Atascocita’s record-setting 4×100 team last spring, joined the Sooners as an early enrollee this week. But he’s more than just a speedster. Blaylock displays great toughness between the tackles and the contact balance to bounce off of defenders to pick up yards after contact.

Although he joins a deep running back room expected to bring back everyone from the 2024 team, there’s the potential for Blaylock to work his way up the running back depth chart because of his big play ability.

Fasusi joins the Sooners after the talented offensive tackle chose OU over Texas and Texas A&M. Despite some last-minute pushes from the two Texas schools, Fasusi never wavered from his commitment to Oklahoma and offensive line coach Bill Bedenbaugh.

Fasusi and Fodje provide Bedenbaugh with a pair of top 10 offensive tackle prospects from the 2025 class. Fodje saw his recruitment take off after receiving his first offer from Bedenbaugh and the Sooners. Shortly after committing to OU, he received a bump from three to four-star status and ended the cycle as one of the best offensive lineman in the class. He’s every bit the talent that Fasusi is and will have a chance to make a huge impact on Oklahoma’s offensive line.
