Linda’s death has been devastating for Danny in many respects. He’s grieved her loss for the past six years and has been afraid to move on because he doesn’t want to lose someone else he loves to death.
He also has lost their partnership. Linda complemented Danny well; she had an uncanny ability to talk him out of impulsive and bad ideas, and she knew how to handle it when he crossed lines with her.
She often demanded to be treated with respect and was not afraid to fight with him, which is what made their relationship work.
