When Thompson rejoins the Warriors, Curry steals the show.
On Klay Thompson’s return to the Chase Center, the Golden State Warriors defeated the Dallas Mavericks 120-117 in the NBA Cup, with 37 points from Steph Curry. The 36-year-old extended his strong start to the season by scoring the Warriors’ final 12 points, including a spectacular three-pointer to make it 118-114. After spending 13 years with the Warriors, Thompson, 34, joined the Mavericks last summer, scoring 22 points in his first Bay Area appearance. Alongside Thompson, Curry won four NBA Championships, and he thinks facing his old teammate was odd.
