The Warriors, looking to claw their way back into playoffs contention following a tough year
The Warriors, looking to claw their way back into playoffs contention following a tough year last time out, took on the Sacramento Kings in a warm-up game on October 12 as Curry looked to get into fine shooting form.
But things went very wrong for the two-time MVP and 2024 Olympic Games gold medalist when he left the second quarter with a finger injury and headed to the medical center for x-ray examinations.
Fortunately for fans of the Bay Area basketball side, the guard had one hurt his finger and it’s nothing too “concerning” in the eyes and words of the Warriors’ head coach.
“I was assured at halftime that it was fine,” Steve Kerr said to reporters after the game. “X-Rays were negative.
“It wasn’t anything too concerning. But yeah, you always get nervous when he’s hurt.”
