Thornydale Road: Cortaro Farms to Camino del Norte

The Thornydale Road project improvements will include the following:

The mill/overlay/widened Thornydale Road roadway from Cortaro Farms Road to directly north of Pecos Road will consist of a 3 lane section including one 12 feet, two way left turn lane, one 11 feet travel lane for north and south bound lanes and 6 feet paved shoulder.

The remainder of Thornydale Road to Camino del Norte will be repaved and will consist of 1 lane each for north and south bound travel

Installing Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) ramp improvements at the intersections

Restriping pavement

All existing cross drainage patterns will be maintained and water will be allowed to flow over the road

We intend to utilize existing right-of-way, plus planned donations, to the maximum degree possible
