The good news is that another possible player has been signed by Florida Gators football.
Few teams had a bigger turnaround on the recruiting trail than Florida.
The Gators overcame a sluggish start and midseason coaching rumors on the way to closing out the year with four-straight wins and an 8-4 record.
Back-to-back ranked wins over No. 21 LSU and No. 9 Ole Miss in November launched Florida’s recruiting stock into the stratosphere, and the Gators used the momentum to clean up shop — especially in the Sunshine State.
Billy Napier flipped coveted wideout Dallas Wilson from his longtime Oregon commitment after raiding Florida State’s class of some marquee names like Tramell Jones Jr. and Byron Louis. Despite watching Joshua Moore flip to Miami, the Gators still finished the 2025 cycle with a top-10 class.
The Gators enter the February National Signing Day with 18 enrollees and seven players who have signed but have yet to enroll. With Wilson’s addition, the Gators boast the No. 10 class on 247Sports, one spot behind Michigan and above Tennessee. Miami sits at No. 14, and FSU at No. 20.

What to Know: Wilson was a longtime Oregon commit, but noticeably did not sign with the Ducks in the early signing period. Instead, the coveted receiver became the highest-ranked Gator in the 2025 cycle after flipping to Florida on Dec. 22. He caught 41 balls for 677 yards and nine touchdowns for Tampa Bay Tech last year.
