Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone shared a short, heartfelt note for her husband Andre Levrone. The 25-year-old had an impressive 2024 season, that saw her win two gold medals at the Paris Olympics.
McLaughlin-Levrone won her first gold medal in the 400m hurdles event
McLaughlin-Levrone won her first gold medal in the 400m hurdles event, where she clocked a world record of 50.37s to stand atop the podium. She bested her on-field arch-rivals, Anna Cockrell and Femke Bol, who recorded 51.87s and 52.15s, claiming second and third place, respectively.
Following this, Mclaughlin-Levrone won her second gold medal at the Paris Olympics in the 4x400m relay.
Here, she and her team, which included Shamier Little, Gabby Thomas, and Alexis Holmes, ran an impressive time of 3:15.27 to stand atop the podium.
They trounced Netherlands and Great Britain, who posted 3:19.50 and 3:19.72 and claimed second and third place, respectively.
