Susanna Reid shares incredible weight loss after doctor’s warning
The GMB star ‘felt heavy’ and was ‘concerned’ after gaining weight during the pandemic
Good Morning Britain’s Susanna Reid has opened up about the significant lifestyle change she was compelled to make following a health warning from her doctor. The 53-year-old TV star disclosed her struggle with weight gain during Covid lockdowns and how she fought skin problems, as well as being alerted to her high BMI by her GP.
This spurred the mother-of-three to radically transform her lifestyle, leading to her shedding one-and-a-half stone without stepping foot in a gym.
Back in December 2018, during a conversation on GMB with then co-host Piers Morgan, Susanna said: “I stopped going to the gym, I found it made me too hungry. I’ve levelled out, I lost a stone-and-a-half and that’s enough, and I don’t go to the gym.”
Additionally, cutting out snacks from her busy work life has left her feeling “fantastic”, as per her admission in Prima magazine.
Susanna told the magazine: “I have to admit, I’d been feeling a little heavy for a while.” Moreover, she learnt to curb her cravings, which were heightened by her early morning starts, reports the Express.
