ROLLOVER CRASH ON ROUTE 101 IN RAYMOND RESULTS IN DUI CHARGE
The operator of a pickup that rolled over last night on Route 101 has been charged with driving impaired.
At approximately 6:30 p.m. on Friday, October 11, 2024, State Troopers assigned to the Troop A barracks responded to a rollover crash on Route 101 eastbound in Raymond, between exits four and three, involving a pickup truck.
Troopers arrived and found the driver of the pickup, identified as James Miller, 41, of Weare, had suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries in the crash. Miller, who was the sole occupant, was transported by EMS from the scene to Elliot Hospital for treatment.
The preliminary investigation determined that the pickup truck left the road, entered the median and rolled over.
The impact separated the cab from the vehicle’s chassis.
Troopers were assisted at the scene by members of the Raymond Police Department, Raymond Fire Department, Candia Fire Rescue, and the Auburn Fire Department. Traffic in the area of the crash was impacted for approximately an hour and a half until the pickup and debris were removed from the median.
While the crash remains under investigation, impairment is believed to have been a contributing factor and Miller has been charged with driving under the influence and a solid line violation.
