On Friday, Florida quarterback DJ Lagway revealed an exciting new NIL deal.

DJ Lagway and the Florida Gators are heading into the 2025 college football season ranked in many way-too-early preseason polls—something that hasn’t been the case in recent years.

Lagway, a former five-star recruit, is set to begin the year as the full-time starter under center. The Gators went 8-5 last season, but were a perfect 5-0 in games he started and finished. Now a sophomore, Lagway is widely expected to be one of the top players in college football after throwing for 1,915 yards and 12 touchdowns in his freshman campaign.

He arguably has one of the top offensive line units in the nation, plenty of weapons to throw to—including receivers Tre Wilson, J. Michael Sturdivant, Aidan Mizell, Dallas Wilson, and more—and one of the SEC’s top running back duos in Jadan Baugh and Ja’Kobi Jackson.
