
The Niagara women’s track and field team wrapped up the first day of the MAAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships hosted by Rider. How it Happened Two school records fell once again as Clara Barr qualified for the finals of the 100m hurdles with a time of 14.63, while Soraya Ross broke the record in the 100m crossing the line in 12.16. Vanessa Woolery placed 12th in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:06.99. Deborah Borysewicz also placed 12th, this time in the 200m, crossing the line in 25.29. Alissa Mete and Sarah Mruk both competed in the steeplechase with Mete placing eighth in with a 11:25.14 and Mruk ran a 11:49.16 finishing in 12th.
