Man Utd’s Ella Toone reveals Ibiza travel nightmare as she only just made Lionesses team-mate Chloe Kelly’s wedding amid mad rush after flight cancellation
Manchester United star Ella Toone has revealed her travel nightmare before Chloe Kelly’s wedding as she celebrated with her Lionesses team-mate.
Kelly was married earlier this week, tying the knot with long-term boyfriend Scott Moore.
She was joined by a host of team-mates from club and international level, and Toone was one of the guests invited to share the couple’s special day. Nevertheless, she struggled to make her way to the nuptials, as she had to fly back from Ibiza, and was almost left stranded
Speaking in a TikTok video, she said: “I actually only got back from Ibiza early hours of this morning because, shock, my flight was cancelled. Cancelled on the way there, sat on the plane for two-and-a-half-hours before we took off and then cancelled on the way home.
My worst nightmare is travelling alone. Me sat in an airport on my own was not what I wanted to do last night. But I’m home and really excited for Chloe’s wedding tonight. She’s going to be a gorgeous bride.”
Toone headed to the wedding in a stunning red dress, and was joined by her boyfriend Joe Bunney as her plus one.
The lower-league footballer was in the headlines earlier this year, after accusing Coronation Street star Ryan Prescott of squatting in one of his rental properties. In the TikTok video, it is clear Toone had a good night, as she wolfs down a snack while on the dance floor.
