
LSU has been awarded the No. 6 national seed in the 2025 NCAA Baseball Tournament. This places them among the top eight teams, granting the Tigers a home-field advantage in the Baton Rouge Regional at Alex Box Stadium. They will face No. 2 seed Miami, No. 3 seed Southeastern Louisiana, and No. 4 seed Central Connecticut in the opening round.
LSU enters the tournament with a 43–14 overall record and a 19–11 mark in Southeastern Conference play. Under the leadership of head coach Jay Johnson, the Tigers are aiming to advance to the College World Series in Omaha.
The Baton Rouge Regional will commence on Friday, June 1, with LSU facing Central Connecticut. The winner of this regional will advance to the Super Regionals, scheduled for June 6–9.
