PANAMA CITY BEACH — The MilkShake Factory has announced that it is opening a new location in Panama City Beach.
The dessert location will be at 11160 Panama City Beach Parkway, Suite 405, and will open on May 10.
The chain was founded in 1914, starting out as a small soda fountain and chocolate shop in Pittsburgh. Now, according to promotional materials, it’s considered one of the most beloved dessert destinations in the United States.
According to a press release, the PCB MilkShake Factory is owned by franchisees Max De Monico and John Petro. “Panama City Beach is the perfect place for MilkShake Factory,” De Monico said in the release. “It’s a family friendly, welcoming community, and we’re proud to introduce a dessert experience that prioritizes craftsmanship and premium ingredients.” The shop is known for its handspun milkshakes and small batch, premium chocolates along with other desserts such as the Chocolate Dipped Strawberry, Campfire S’mores, and classic favorites like Cookies & Cream, all made with the brand’s proprietary ice cream recipe. The menu also includes non-dairy shakes. There will be a buy one/get one free shake promotion from noon to 4 p.m. during the grand opening celebration. Happy Hour is held every Thursday from 4-6 p.m. All classic shakes will be available for $5. “We’ve always been inspired by the magic of creating places that bring people together, and MilkShake Factory does just that. Whether you’re wrapping up a day at the beach or just craving something sweet, we can’t wait to welcome you in,” the release says.
