Kawhi Leonard is expected to lead the LA Clippers in scoring this season
The onus will be on Kawhi to score buckets for a Clippers squad that lost PG this offseason.
The Los Angeles Clippers lost a lot of firepower this offseason with the departures of All-Stars Paul George and Russell Westbrook. Those unfortunate developments leave the door open for 12-year veteran Kawhi Leonard to shoulder most of the scoring responsibilities and lead the Clippers in scoring.
With PG by his side last season, the two-time NBA Finals MVP averaged 23.7 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game. He was also efficient from the field, making 51 percent of his attempts, including 41 percent from beyond the arc.
Health-willing, he should be able to raise those figures more this season as the Clippers try to stay relevant in the Western Conference.
