On Monday, JuJu Watkins praised Simone Biles and Jordan Chiles following their performances in the women’s floor exercise final at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Biles earned her 11th Olympic medal by clinching silver with a score of 14.133, while Chiles captured bronze with a 13.766.
The competition had an exciting finish, with Chiles’ final performance bumping her up the standings.USC basketball star Watkins shared her excitement on Instagram. She posted a victory snap with the caption,
“Witnessed history.”

Chiles earned a 13.766, combining a 5.900 for difficulty and a 7.866 for execution. She has also steadfastly supported Biles during the competition.
This marked Chiles’ first individual Olympic medal. As soon as the scores were announced, Biles embraced her teammate. Meanwhile, the gold went to Brazil’s Rebeca Andrade, who scored 14.166.Nonetheless, Biles made history by becoming the second U.S. gymnast to win more than one floor medal, adding to her gold from Rio 2016. Aly Raisman previously won gold in 2012 and silver in 2016.
