The USC Trojans women’s basketball team secured the commitment of one of the best players in the class of 2025: five-star recruit Jasmine “Jazzy” Davidson from Oregon
The 6-1 combo guard is currently a senior at Clackamas High School in Happy Valley, Oregon.
She’s earned the Gatorade Oregon Girls Basketball Player of the Year award an impressive three times running and is ranked third in the ESPN class of 2025.
Despite interest from college basketball powerhouses like UConn, UCLA, Texas, South Carolina, and others, Davidson only ended up visiting USC. She cited her experience with current star Juju Watkins as a major factor in her decision-making process.
“I met the players and JuJu [Watkins] was my host, so just getting to meet her and getting to know the players was really cool. It’s a really cool family environment,” Davidson told On3.
