Jose Altuve’s wife Giannina shares a candid glimpse of waterfront date with Astros superstar.

For the last eight October seasons, Jose Altuve of the Astros has been locked in a postseason battle. Now, for the first time in years, the superstar has the chance to spend the early fall in the company of those who matter most.

Recently, Altuve’s wife Nina posted a series of pictures on her Instagram. In the captures, Nina is on board what appears to be a luxury yacht. In addition to enjoying the deck with her husband, Nina also captured the majestic expanse of the sea in the flurry of photographs.

Both natives of northern Venezuela, Jose Altuve married Giannina in 2005 when he was 16 and she was just 13. At the time, Altuve was being shunned by most MLB teams on account of his 5’6 frame. However, in 2007, the Houston Astros decided to take a chance on Altuve and signed him to a $15,000 bonus.
