As for Altuve and the Astros, their longstanding third baseman Alex Bregman seems poised to say goodbye to the Houston team. Bregman, who recently announced the second pregnancy of his wife Reagan Elizabeth, has been Astros’ pillar along with Altuve.
Altuve has openly expressed his interest in having Bregman as his teammate. However, with teams needing clutch third basemen like the former LSU Tiger, the Astros retaining Bregman won’t be easy.
