Baltimore Ravens offensive line coach Joe D’Alessandris dies at age 70.
Baltimore Ravens offensive line coach Joe D’Alessandris died Sunday morning after battling an acute illness, the team announced.
D’Alessandris, who has served as the team’s offensive line coach since 2017, took a leave of absence earlier this month for treatment of the illness.
George Warhop was brought on as the Ravens’ interim offensive line coach when D’Alessandris went on medical leave.
Coach John Harbaugh said at the time that D’Alessandris had surgery earlier this summer and experienced complications.
