The recent victory in Jasna slalom marked her 95th World Cup victory, the most by anyone, and with still a lot of time left in her career, 150 doesn’t seem too far. As she emerged victorious in her 58th slalom, Shiffrin not only broke a few records on the way but added two glorious crowns to her name.
The Jasna victory rewarded her with, what she termed as her most beautiful trophy ever, a gorgeous head crown. And now the same breathtaking finish on the snowy slopes has blessed her with a new fan as America’s greatest male alpine skier accepts the defeat before the skiing queen.
