After the spring, Florida football’s 2025 SP+ ranking was revised.

The 2025 college football season still has a few months before its opening kickoff, but the preseason rankings continue to roll in as the sports media produces its predictions for the nation’s favorite fall sport. One of the more robust measures of a program’s strength is the SP+ rankings, put together by ESPN’s Bill Connelly. He most recently published his post-spring update, which reflects the moves made in the transfer portal as well as other events in each respective team’s camps. Connelly began the offseason with his first edition of the 2025 projections back in February, in which he ranked the Florida Gators at No. 17 with a 14.4 overall rating, along with an offensive rating of 33.6 — which ranks 23rd in the nation — while the defense is at 19.2 (22nd) and the special teams among the top 10 at 0.3 (8th). In the latest update, the Orange and Blue now finds itself ranked 14th with a 17.3 overall rating; on offense, Florida ranks 16th (35.4), while on defense it ranks 21st (18.2) and on special teams 8th (0.3). The team’s average win total of seven games and the strength os schedule ranks second in the nation behind fellow SEC foe, the Oklahoma Sooners.

Paul McCartney, Elton John, Sting, Eric Clapton & More Unite for a Once-in-a-Lifetime “Hey Jude” Performance at Royal Albert Hall — and It Left the World in Tears. No tour. No ego. Just legends on a mission — and one anthem that never gets old. As Paul led the chorus, Elton chimed in on piano, Clapton wept through his guitar, and Sting’s harmony rose like a prayer, the crowd didn’t just sing — they soared. Phones lit up like stars. Grown men cried. The word “magical” suddenly felt too small. This wasn’t a concert. It was a miracle with a melody. FULL VIDEO BELOW

Returning to the iconic stage where The Beatles once famously turned down an invite in 1969, McCartney delivered a powerful, emotional tribute to his storied past. With his voice still rich with passion and grit, he opened gently on piano, letting the warmth of “Golden Slumbers” unfold before building to the driving force of “Carry That Weight.” As the medley roared to a close with “The End,” the crowd was swept into a rare, electrifying moment that bridged the past and present—pure McCartney magic…
