Police said they found $40K worth of cocaine and meth in Wayne County busts.

WAYNE COUNTY, Mich. – Authorities seized $40,000 worth of drugs after executing search warrants in Wayne County, police said.

The Metro Narcotics Enforcement Team executed search warrants in Canton Township and Wayne on Thursday, Feb. 20, 2025.

During the investigation, detectives seized about “8.8 pounds of methamphetamine and an amount of crack cocaine,” according to state police. Police say the street value of the drugs is about $40,000.

A suspect was arrested. The case pends a review from the prosecutor.

The Metro South Post and Downriver SWAT assisted with the investigation.
