Headlines for Wednesday: Oklahoma Gameday and Lamont Butler and Jaxson Robinson’s (?) comeback

Well, it was a very exciting night as the injury report came out, as Kentucky Wildcats guards Lamont Butler and Jaxson Robinson are listed as probable for tonight’s game vs. the Oklahoma Sooners.

The reports from the weekend were positive, saying that both were practicing, but it’s pretty surprising to see them both probable for tonight.

Now, this doesn’t mean they will play much at all. Andrew Carr was probable for the Tennessee game in Knoxville and played only one minute.

With that said, it’s exciting to see this team rounding into shape right before March. We’ve seen what they can do fully healthy, and even though I doubt we’ll see Kerr Kriisa make it back this year, Jaxson and Lamont will give them plenty of firepower to make a run.

Finally, look for Otega Oweh to have a big bounce-back game tonight. He’s playing his former school, coming off the worst game of his Kentucky career. He’ll be extra motivated.

Tonight is pretty much a must-win; let’s see if they can do it. It should be fun.
