Is Steph Curry scheduled to play today, November 2, against the Rockets? latest information about injuries…
Ahead of the Golden State Warriors’ trip to Houston to play the Rockets, fans have been biting their lips over the fitness of star man Steph Curry, who has recently been sidelined with injury.
The point guard missed out on the double-header wins against the Pelicans (124-106, 104-89), with a foot injury keeping him out of action.
However, it seems that the worst news has been confirmed: Steph Curry will not play against the Rockets, with the NBA confirming that he “will not play in tomorrow’s game against the Rockets”.
What injury does Steph Curry have?
In a statement, the league said: Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry, who has missed the last two (2) games due to a left peroneal strain, was re-evaluated earlier today.
He will be re-evaluated on Sunday and could theoretically return on Monday against the Washington Wizards.
However, the fears are not looming large in San Francisco, as the NBA also highlighted that “Curry is making good progress and, as a result, he has been cleared to return to segments of the team’s practice tonight in Houston.”
Curry is averaging 18.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 6.7 assists and 2.0 steals per game while shooting 41.5% from the field and 40.7% from the three-point range in three games.
