WNBA star Cameron Brink is engaged!

The Los Angeles Sparks forward’s longtime boyfriend Ben Felter popped the question in while she was in Paris for fashion week.

“Yes in every lifetime ” Cameron wrote in a September 30 Instagram post, including a series of photos of Ben’s sweet proposal in front of the Eiffel Tower.

The proposal took place at the Shangri-La Paris Hotel after Cameron, 22, attended the Balenciaga show. Cameron had no idea that Ben was surprising her in Paris, per People. (He told her he had had work to do back in California.)

The engagement may come as a surprise to some fans, but Cam and Ben have been loved up for quite some time now. Here’s everything you need to know about this adorable couple.

Cameron Brink’s boyfriend is a Stanford athlete, too.

Like Cameron, Ben attended Stanford University, which appears to be where the two met. He’s also an athlete, competing as a starboard on the Stanford Rowing Team. The Palo Alto, California, native committed to the team in October 2019, ultimately competing for four years.

Ben majored in computer science and appeared on the Pac-12’s Spring Academic Honor Roll three times, per his athlete bio. He just started his fifth year as a graduate in Stanford’s computer science program.

He helped lead the rowing team to some impressive showings, with Stanford placing first in the final for No. 2 boats at the 2023 IRA Championship, according to the university. Ben also rowed in the No. 5 seat on Stanford’s second Varsity Eight during the IRA Championships.

Plus, some of his training habits have since rubbed off on Cameron. While chatting with WH at the 2024 WNBA draft, she credited her boyfriend with getting her to drink water.

“[Ben] is a rower and they burn calories, lose sweat like crazy. And I kind of saw directly how much that affected his performance,” Cameron told WH, adding she now tries to drink a gallon a day. “I’ve just felt the differences mentally, physically, my skin, everything. So it’s such an easy fix to feel better as a whole
