‘Chosen Failure’: Brooke Henderson Suffers Jason Day’s Nightmare as Fans Brutally Mock Latest Senators Move
Criticism is bound to follow a golfer, and in today’s world, it could be about anything. From the apparel worn on the course to a missed putt for the U.S., the pros are flacked left and right. When it comes to criticism of one’s fashion on the greens, Jason Day might be more familiar with it.
After donning the Malbon Golf attire, he received negative feedback from many in the golf world, and Brooke Henderson might be the next in line. The Ottawa Senators of the NHL announced Henderson as their ambassador in a multi-year partnership. The LPGA Tour star would have the Sens logo on her water bottles and her golf towels.
Moreover, per the deal, she and her sister, who caddies for her on the LPGA Tour, would also have to wear the Senators’ colors—red, black, white, and gold—once per tournament. Speaking about her latest partnership, Henderson said, “It’s such a cool opportunity. Growing up, I played hockey, I loved hockey, and I always cheered for the Sens. So it feels like a perfect fit.”
But will it be a perfect fit? Although the 13-time LPGA Tour winner sounded excited about her new collaboration with the Sens and wearing the new colors, the fans differed in their opinions about the decision. They brutally criticized the partnership and the colors she may soon wear on the golf course.
