With shared goals and common values, Mathews and USA Archery team up for another year

Mathews Archery will continue its partnership with USA Archery through 2025 after the Wisconsin-based company agreed to renew its sponsorship.

A leader in its field, Mathews Archery is based in America, its products built in America, and it loyally supports the sport of archery and the archery community in America.

Derek Phillips is the Field Staff Manager for Mathews. He said, “For Mathews Archery, Inc., a sponsorship with USA Archery is an opportunity to join forces with an elite organization that not only orchestrates Olympic archery but supports all aspects of archery.

“This type of partnership is for the good of all manufacturers and benefits all of its members.”

From the very beginning Mathews founder, chief engineer and CEO, Matt McPherson followed his passion. Unable to buy a compound bow, he built his own while a 13-year-old in junior high.

That was in 1970. It would be another 22 years before Mathews Archery began, since when the aim has been to ‘deliver quality and craftsmanship better than any other bow company.’

“Mathews Archery’s success for 32 years has always been due to producing a quality product, backed with the best people, quality customer support and with focus on elevating the sport of archery,” Phillips added. “Mathews remains committed to improving bow performance and their support of USA Archery will help improve the sport and allow us all to continue to grow and excel.”
