What happened to Steph Curry? No one was expecting it.
Steph Curry’s 2024/25 NBA season with the Golden State Warriors almost ended before it began.
But things went very wrong for the two-time MVP and 2024 Olympic Games gold medalist when he left the second quarter with a finger injury and headed to the medical center for x-ray examinations.
Fortunately for fans of the Bay Area basketball side, the guard had one hurt his finger and it’s nothing too “concerning” in the eyes and words of the Warriors’ head coach.
“I was assured at halftime that it was fine,” Steve Kerr said to reporters after the game. “X-Rays were negative.
“It wasn’t anything too concerning. But yeah, you always get nervous when he’s hurt.”
Curry headed to the gym the next day after taking the rest of the night off and is currently logged as a day-to-day, meaning the Warriors are monitoring his condition and won’t risk him if he seems too fragile.
Based on his stats, Curry was on pace for around 12 points and eight assists against the Kings, although his shooting wasn’t stellar at 4-14 (28.57%).
