On Wednesday, August 28, the 2024 Paris Paralympic Opening Ceremony wowed and motivated the audience. This is the first time in the history of the Paralympics that the Opening Ceremony will take place outside of a stadium, with around 168 delegations from around the world marching through the famous Champs-Elysées to the Place de la Concorde. Hollywood icon and martial arts performer Jackie Chan was seen striking a “en garde” position with the Paralympic torch in Paris.The 70-year-old was selected to carry the torch prior to the Opening Ceremonies.
